Association of New Canadians – Clarenville

The Association for New Canadians – Clarenville introduced a series of free multicultural cooking classes to bring the community together through food and culture from all over the world. These classes help bridge that gap by teaching residents how to prepare nutritious, delicious meals with a cultural twist! Check out this video from a class facilitated by a volunteer from India.

These cooking classes have been a tremendous success in the community. Each session welcomed more than 26 participants, and attendees consistently left wanting more! Local grocery stores have also noticed the positive impact, as residents are now exploring and using ingredients from their international food sections with confidence.
