EGAP took a trip to J .R. Smallwood Middle School in Wabush and partnered with Labrador West Recreation to facilitate a cooking class with the grade 5/6 class to teach students about food preparation and basic food skills. The students made their own BBQ chicken pizzas and fruit kabobs and learned how to create a balanced meal at home with their favorite foods.
