The Town of Portugal Cove–St. Philip’s proudly hosted the 2024 Killick Coast Games, bringing together communities from across the region for a week filled with friendly competition, teamwork, and camaraderie.

One of the standout features of this year’s event was its strong focus on nutrition. Organizers ensured that every participant had access to healthy, delicious food options to stay fueled and perform at their best. Over 2,000 meals were served, along with more than 10,000 snacks to keep energy levels high throughout the week.

The clear athlete favourite? Fruit and yogurt parfaits!
In addition to parfaits, athletes enjoyed a wide variety of wholesome snacks, including fresh fruit, veggies with ranch dip, granola bars, and cheese.
